The Mrs recently suggested we drive to the Johor premium outlets to look see. Anyone been there recently? Worth going? Intend to drive via Tuas second link, anything to look out for as first time going in by car.

I drove in about 3-4 times... It's actually a nice short drive. Easy to navigate to and can't really miss it.
Agree its not that big compare to US or Europe, but its as big as you can get in our region... Prices wise, if you do your research first, you can get some savings. I got some kids' clothing from their local designers as well as Polo Ralph... Makan-wise there is this Japanese restaurant I feel is quite good. Can't recall the name but there is only one I think...
The stuffs at JPO is not cheap at all.. unlike the US. not much discount.

it may be worth buying high end stuffs from JPO if the SG-MY exchange rate bothers 3.0. It's still a nice outing even if you don't buy anything. Just be cautious of speed check post 2nd toll station.
I dropped by once on the way back to SG and other than some shoes that the missus bought, everything else didn't seem worth it... We liked the crepe there though... It was yummy

In US, factory outlet, items are placed in a mess, many had dig n dig for their size. JPO all placed neatly.. like no one wan to touch them
i fully agree with the bros.. most of the items are way overpriced.. i dont feel like in a real outlet store unlike overseas.. no urge to buy at all.. but its a nice place to walk walk lah.. big open spaces are hard to find in SG..
