2014 Jaguar XFR-S Sportbrake spy photo 26.07.2013 / S. Baldauf/SB-Medien
Due most likely in September
We received a second batch of spy photos with the 2014 Jaguar XFR-S Sportbrake which should come out in September during the Frankfurt Motor Show.
A viable alternative to the 2014 Audi RS6 Avant, Jaguar's Sportbrake version of the XFR-S will get a similar treatment as it sedan cousin, such as the bigger alloy wheels, larger air intakes in front bumper, beefier brake kit and a quad exhaust arrangement at the back.
Under the hood we expect to find the same supercharged 5.0-liter V8 engine rated at 542 bhp (405 kW) and 502 lb-ft (680 Nm) of torque. The powerful engine will be mated to an eight-speed gearbox developed by ZF which will enable the XFR-S Sportbrake to perform the 0-62 mph (0-100 km/h) run in approximately 4.8 seconds since the sedan does it in 4.6s. Top speed will be electronically-capped to 186 mph (300 km/h) just like in the sedan.
