so does this really protect for months/years? Never seen one (whether its ceramic or glass coating) that really does that. If $700+ protection that can't last, might be better to spend wax/groom every 2-3 months?

The ceramic coating can last 3-5 years but most importantly, its' about the coating on top of your paint. This is a form of paint protection. Grooming si different. Without a proper paint protection. grooming might not help to prevent those scratches or swirls mark. The coating gives a shine but you still need to do basic maintenance. We have done ceramic coating on a Bentley and that is one of our first client. It has been more than a year and the coating and shine still stays. Hope that helps. Thanks.

Hehe... My car can attest to Geckoprince statement... Brudders seen my car always comment abt the shine. I don't have grooming packages. My FDW uses gecko shine every other day. 15min each time only. Of coz the coating can't prevent stone chips or gravel, but the coating does make a difference when u just do simple wash.

Free demo! Free demo!

The coating is 10 micron thick. It is best not to wash your car at the petrol station. I never recommend that. But it is safe to have it wash there. Most of my clients uses the shine for a quick touch up. The liquid wax which has carnauba can last for a week or so under normal condition.

I know its bad, but I'm getting lazy (esply after 4-5 years of no grooming, my current car only wash every once a month if I'm lucky) and not used to grooming (and also no time la)

Regular car grooming, is easy car grooming.

If you were to use Neutrogena to wash face daily, is definitely better than use SK2 to do facial once a year, then bo chup for the rest of the year right? :)

Never go to petrol kiosk to wash your car... the amount of swirl marks that they can add to your car is never worth it. Also, the detergent they use is so harsh, that all the protective layer (be it wax or whatsoever) might get washed away.

The only time i go to petrol kiosk, is for them to wash my rims and spray water on the paintwork. Their sponge never touch my car body. :)

i also lazy... so i go for monthly full car wash at my contract groomer.

every weekday night... my condo go car wash guy to do simple rinse and wipe.

I know sure a few of you guys cringe at that thought..but we already anticipated it and took precaution.

most of us make sure he get access to clean water supply at every lobby corner and clean cloths.

some owners like me give full instructions... just water, rinse & wipe, no detergent but i will pay full price.

good news is... last 2-3 yrs... minor complains on missing some dirty spots but no scratches or damages. even my groomer ask where i wash my car..lolx

so i am very lucky this peace of mind only costs me $50 a month

Don't be lazy.. just a quick wash, and thereafter spray on the quick detailer, will be good enough to last the whole week.

Coupled with monthly waxing or so, your meow will appreciate you for years to come. :)
