OMW 62K+ is close to that of the Audi A6 3.0T, BMW535 and Mercy E300.  Resale value of Jaguar has been very bad.

Seriously, what was 2011 XFS asking price then? $163,000 seems like a steal in today's market, isn't it?

In 2011, i think the 3.0D XFS was going for 245K to 260K

Wow... Given that the OMV is $62K, which is better than 5 series BMWs, XFS on the pre-owned market is a steal man...

i'm sure MOST of us knows that we'll be getting **** resale value when we bought our cars.. especially now when the COE has plummeted close to 30% of its peak.
those who bought the XF diesel like me earlier in the year before they implemented the financial measure lagi PCN. see the selling price drop by 20-25k. lol. so that's 20-25k depreciation in less than 2 months!

I agree with Icebear on this. I knew that my Jaguar will have no resale value when I bought it..... but what to do, I fell in love with it.

jaguar is the nicest most chio car on the block (IMHO) at the moment.. pricewise also very very competitive compared to the other marques.. excellent ride too.. i dislike the merc for the uncle look, and unresponsive engine/gearbox.
bmw quite chio, but still lose to Jag, and WAY TOO COMMON.. super bo hua too if u count the OMV method. their OMV is so low and price is so high. you're not getting the value for money. haha. finally, jaguar branding will always be one up to merc and bmw, again, IMO.

so if you're after:
1) Looks
2) Value for money
3) Perceived atas brand

Jag is the clear choice!

Even Wearnes Used Car Centre rated BMW 320 coupe (OMV $40.7K) to worth more than a similar aged 3.0D XFS (OMV 62.9K). I Dunno what to say!
