Do you have any question you would like to ask in regards to car care, grooming and detailing? This is the place for you. Hope to hear from you guys soon.
I noticed my cars are full of swirl marks. As i signed up with a polishing company (which went missing!) i have always use only water and synthetic leather cloth for washing and cleaning. Am i doing it wrong?
I used your waterless cleaner (coutersy from Mike), it looks great. But it need to be done with dry cloth (water will cause white stains). Will dry cloth create any swirl marks?

We also provides door to door mobile service. That includes interior and exteior grooming inclusive of waxing and sealant application. You can visit our site www.geckoshine.com More of the information are given there.
We are revamping our product line and will include tire shine, deagreaser, glass cleaner, leatehr cleaner and much more. We also provide Ceramic Coating Services. Information can also be found on our website.
Thanks to Mike. There should not be any white residues. What you need to do is use a wet or damp cloth and spray on teh cloth and the body of the car. Once that is done, use a dry cloth to buff it off. The residue will dissapear. That is the wax or the super polymer. Don't do it under the hot sun. You should not do any car wash under the hot sun. It dries up the solutions you are using and leaves a residue. That accounts for all products. You should also use microfiber cloth for the application and buffing.
Rotary swirls mark are caused by machine buffing. Most often that will happen if it is done fast and without changing the buffing pad. Most often, you can't see it when you colelct the vehicle as swirls can be covered by wax. But once the wax wears off, swirls will appear.
NEVER ever use a dry cloth on a dry car body. That will leaves a mark. Car paint these days are sensitive. Even the softest microfiber can sometime leaves a mark. Always use a wax or solutions before you buff it off with a cloth. And lightly. Also, do not put extra pressure on the bonnet or roof. People tend to do it and leaves swirl. Same thing with bird dropping, use our solutions and make sure you spray it widely and wet the surface. Don't force it out. It will leaves swirls or scratches.
I have client that already has Diamondbrite and we add on another layer of ceramic coating. Its gives added protection adn a more brilliant shine. I believe Diamond Brite is good for a year. We can do the coating after the Diamond Brite wears off or slightly before that.
Apart from a protection, to keep your car paint work at its best, you should do regular grooming and wazing. Regular maintenance ensures that your car looks good and the paint work is well taken care of.
Geckoprince, you need to join us for the Friday meet up, and do a demo of your waterless product. They rock! I haven't used anything else since starting on them. Good to let my brudders here see for themselves...

Thanks for reverting, mate. You have my business just before my DiamondBrite wears off!
geckoprince ... how does your product stack up against those that claims their protection can last 18 months or more? I never seen one that can really achieve that, I wonder if yours is any different. Are there warranty if the protection wears out after 6-9 months?
We have tested our products on our own vehicles as well as our clients vehicle. It has been more than a year since we launch our product. The Extreme Element. There is no issue on the coating. The coating is liquid ceramic. The one that usually last 6 months is a sealant. That is a temporary application on the body of the car. The ceramic coating is another layer of coating that bond directly to the paintwork. So it stays there longer. Should you need touch up, we will do them for you when you call for the basic grooming. The touch up will be complimentary. Hope that answer your question. Thanks. :)
