Recently, XFS and myself have bought this Tyredog TPMS over the net.
TPMS, also know as Tyre Pressure Monitoring System, allows the driver to monitor the tyre pressure through a handphone-like screen remotely, so as to prevent costly replacement of tyres or even warped rims due to punctured tires!
The one that XFS and I bought were the colour screen type, which costs slightly more (in the $300 region), which is aesthetically more pleasing.
The package comes with 4 x transmitters (each one to be mounted as tyre valve cap on each tyre. It comes with an anti-theft locking device as well) and 1 x receiver (as shown in the picture as colour screen, to monitor the tyre pressure and temperature as well). Included in the package is also batteries and manuals, etc.
I'm currently doing an interest check, so as to discuss with the supplier with regards to preferential pricing for Group Buy.

Spyder79: US$240 u mean for the colour version? That price is about right.
If it's S$240 for the colour version (TD1400), maybe u can share where u getting it from? So at least that can be a ballpark figure when I go and negotiate prices...
