thinking hard if I should change the grill at the same time I collect my car. Not a fan of the chrome grill. does anybody owns a white 2.2 jaguar and has the grill changed so I can take a look at how it looks like with the black grill?

i understand there's two type, one full black, and one black grill with chrome trimming.

Yes and first one that comes to mind is chiaster. White 2.2 with black pack option.

No I don't as my car is only arriving in Aug. I can't recall but i tink it's slightly more costly than if u opt for the full black grill.

My grille is direct from jag's factory in UK. Same for my aerodynamic pack. I had some visual enhancements done to the car by Wearnes before collection in order to achieve the look I wanted thus the term "customised"

Aerodynamic pack = front bumper, side skirts, rear boot lid spoiler, rear bumper valence (if your ride is not the 2.2diesel)

Don't do the same lar.. Else our cars all look the same.. That's why I am cracking my head so hard, trying to customize till it's different compared to the others.. But very limited toys to play with aftermarket... Wife get a bit irritated already as she finds the ride not smooth at all.. I suggest go see see 'B' next week...

ha ha .. don't intend to do anything. changing the grill only because I personally think chrome grill is out of place. After changing bodykits 2 times in one of my previous rides, I have made a resolution that my mod has to be safety and performance optimisation related, and nothing more. Which alsmo means I must get a car that looks good on stock :)

That's why I'm hoping to get stage 1 and a BBK...

nice! can imagine that it'll be very aggressive looking :)

btw, 2008-2010 front grille not the same as 2012-2013 one right? they look the same on a quick glance though..

think i can't see that thread :(

i read that the eco start/stop relies on brake pressure sensor which may be affected by a BBK replacement. I assume yours is not a diesel ?

Yes.. Latter version is bigger.. And yes, B for Bentley... Wife's boss who drives a Roll Royce, once commented why I was driving a truck to fetch her from her. ( I was driving the range rover sport).. And wife changed immediately. Just that we likes only British products.. Now, she Kena promoted again, got more transport allowance given.. I am only a driver lar.. She sits behind whilst I drive..

I got illness one... And that's to keep on change my rides every two years.. Maybe something to do with my childhood where there were a lot of comparison between cousins; relatives over types of houses staying; car driving...and we always lose out.. So when grown up, my bro and I went crazy, he got one GTR, one Evo and one type r.. Whilst me keep on change conti cars.... I hope I won't pass this madness to my kids...but at school, they already start comparing what cars their father drives.. Sigh....
But I think Bentley is good enough bah..

haiz... i wish i'm abnormal.

at least the crazy part is within your control la... most imptly u got a jag! hehe

PS: actually the purpose of choose jag for me is to discipline myself from getting wild in mod. that's the same reason why I chose my current ride (SAAB). nothing to mod. I spent more than $30K just on mod on my 1.6 VW many years ago, and I told myself it's silly money spent.

U all crazy bro... I wish I am normal.. There are a lot of competition between families.. Now extended to even completing about which families have more grandchildren.. So far, in the lead as all gave birth to gals, only mine is boy.. So, made old man happy... Means $$$$$ given.
Anyway, it's mental illness in everything, except for work.
Back to this mod topic lar... Jag is really very limited to zing.. Don't want jap car, as that's my bro's terrority, with his GTR; Evo and Type R.. Really bought wrong car.
Saw a lot of XF on the road these days..but still cannot see any bros yet..
Anyone stays at 6th ave??

It's engineering, my dear bro!! $$ is secondary.. Unless u are not a engineer.. I love engineering. I went to study aeronautical engineering, specialize in helicopter engineering..a 'cold door' subject just to be special.. Came back, dad went crazy and almost Kena chased out of house.. But I didnt practice lar.. Just use it during all the zing sessions on cars.. Else, I enjoy to work as a small position in the firm.. Haha..
